Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American artist and rapper. The stage name he uses is the fusion of the name a beloved uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. He signed a contract for joint-recording with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. In 2013 Scott self-released his debut full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. Then, he then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the debut album of his studio. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became his first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott continued to release albums that year, including the release of a joint album, Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the title Huncho Jack. His third studio album Astroworld was received acclaim by critics. The album was the source of the first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the album compilation JackBoys. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one in less than a year.
